Our team went down to Ejutla, MX to visit the different families that make up the Banhez Co-Op. We fell in love with the people and what they produce. Sadly, we could only choose one varietal from one Maestro. But the one we ended up selecting is a rare and wild-growing varietal (tobala) that can take 15 years to mature and was fermented, and distilled by Marcelino Martinez and his team down near Ejutla.
